Video: Vin Scully, Dodgers Players Thank Fans For Amazing 2013 Season

The Los Angeles Dodgers came within two wins of making their first trip back to the World Series since 1988, but unfortunately, they didn’t have enough to beat the Cardinals in the NLCS.

However, the Dodgers completed one of the greatest turnarounds in baseball history, going on a 42-8 stretch in the heart of the season as the likes of Yasiel Puig, Clayton Kershaw and Hanley Ramirez were are the forefront, leading the charge.

They also got great news that Hall of Fame broadcaster Vin Scully will be back for his 65th season in 2014 as the Dodgers hope to let him call one last World Series before he retires. As Vin says in the video below, the Dodgers were “two wins and one rib” away from reaching the final series in baseball, but 2014 should be even better.

With the off-season in full swing, Dodger players and Vin himself wanted to thank the fans for an incredible 2013 season and to look forward to the 2014 season.
