Photo: Dodgers’ Hanley Ramirez Posts Picture With Yasiel Puig
Pitchers and catchers report to Camelback Ranch in just three weeks, but several Los Angeles Dodgers have started to ramp up their workouts. Pitchers Hyun-Jin Ryu and Kenley Jansen were seen running stairs at Dodger Stadium yesterday and Hanley Ramirez has started swinging in the cage while home in Miami.
Another player, Yasiel Puig, was continuously posting pictures of himself running on the track or hitting off a tee via his Instagram account earlier in the off-season. However, things took a turn for the worse when he was arrested for the second time in eight months on a reckless driving charge. The 23-year-old outfielder was driving 110 mph in a 70 mph zone and in an effort to not run into this problem in the future, he’s done driving himself.
Today, Ramirez posted a picture on Instagram that he was taking the day off in Miami, but later uploaded a photo with Puig. Of note was the hashtag Ramirez used, which seems to make light of Puig’s second reckless driving charge. Puig was seen in Miami earlier this week with Dodgers Cuban infielder Alexander Guerrero.
