Bobby Miller Exits After 3 Innings in Disappointing 2025 Debut: Dodgers Fans React
The Los Angeles Dodgers called on right-handed pitcher Bobby Miller to pitch Wednesday night’s series finale against the Colorado Rockies.
After sporting a 2.25 ERA across three appearances and 12 innings in Triple-A this year, the Dodgers were hopeful Miller would continue that success at the big league level after struggling mightily in 2024.
Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.

Miller allowed a run in the first inning on three hits, but did strike out the side. In the second inning, he added two more strikeouts while allowing one hit.
However, the third inning is where it all unraveled.
Miller allowed a leadoff single before getting another strikeout. Then, he allowed a single and a walk to load the bases.
Michael Toglia then hit a grand slam to dead center field. The very next batter, Mickey Moniak, hit a home run to cut the Dodgers’ once six-run lead to just one.
Miller was able to get out of the inning with a strikeout and groundout, but didn’t come back out for the fourth.
Dodgers fans reacted to the disappointing start by the former Dodgers top prospect.
