BREAKING NEWS: Dodgers Acquire Brandon League From Mariners

The Dodgers have acquired RHP Brandon League from the Mariners for Leon Landry and Logan Bawcom.

Brandon League is a 29 year old right handed relief pitcher and will be a free agent after the season.

League is a great addition before the deadline and will help strengthen the bullpen.

On a side note, acquiring League would hint that the Dodgers are about to flip a bullpen arm (Lindblom) to the Phillies for Hunter Pence or Shane Victorino. We’ll find out within 14 hours…
