Clayton Kershaw News: ‘Camp Kersh’ Returns for Dodgers Ace

Dodgers ace and future Hall of Famer remains one of the best pitchers in the game. The left-hander had another incredible season on the mound in 2022, finishing among the league leaders in ERA (2.28) and winning percentage (.800). He also had another incredible season off the mound through his many charitable endeavors raising more than $1 million through his foundation’s events throughout the year.

And now the 9-time All-Star is ready to start off another year strong. Clayton, along with wife Ellen and their “Kershaw’s Challenge” foundation, announced the third annual “Camp Kersh” virtual baseball camp coming up at the end of February.

Camp Kersh provides free virtual baseball lessons and instruction for kids of all ages and abilities. Clayton released a statement expressing his excitement.

“I am excited to host another year of Camp Kersh. We held this camp for the first time during the pandemic – it was so much fun and such a great addition, that we decided to keep going. Hopefully this camp gives some helpful tips to kids looking to improve in baseball. Should be a lot of fun!”

The event is set to take place on February 27th from 3pm-4pm pacific time. Participants will receive instruction and tips on pitching fundamentals, game day prep, and training insight from Kershaw and more special guests. Plus there will be an exclusive Q&A session with the 2020 World Series champion.

Kershaw’s Challenge has raised over $16 million for vulnerable and at-risk children living in Los Angeles, Dallas, Africa, and the Dominican since 2011. For more information on Clayton and Ellen’s charity, visit kershawschallenge.org.
