Player of the Day – Alex Guerrero
This is becoming redundant. Guerrero has now homered six times in his last six games, giving him 10 total on the season. He missed the cycle by a double after missing it by a triple on Sunday. In his last 10 games, Alex is batting .442/.444/.977. He also made his first start at shortstop for the Topes, making just one play on a ball that was deflected by the pitcher. The organization obviously wants his bat in the majors but it’s going to take time figuring out the best way to get him there.
