Dodgers Nation Week In Review: July 13 — July 19
The Los Angeles Dodgers sent four players to Tuesday’s All-Star Game, but the National League team fell, which means the American League representative will have home field advantage in the World Series. Following the break, the Dodgers traveled to St. Louis to take on the Cardinals and thus far have dropped the first two of the three game series.
Off the field, the SportsNet LA saga continued as the network criticized DirecTV for its lack of cooperation in trying to agree to terms for distribution rights. Without DirecTV and several other cable providers carrying SportsNet LA, fans continue to miss action as the Dodgers make their push towards the playoffs.
