Dodgers News And Rumors: A.J. Ellis’ Concerns Answered
After the Los Angeles Dodgers had a disastrous outcome in the first of a three-game set in San Francisco, A.J. Ellis expressed concern with how the Dodgers would respond. Not only did the Dodgers drop the first game, they saw Hyun-Jin Ryu removed after one inning due to shoulder irritation.
Although it was a bad loss for the Dodgers, they could take some comfort in knowing Zack Greinke would be on the mound Saturday. As it turned out, the Dodgers answered the bell prior to Greinke throwing one pitch.
The Dodgers scored four runs off Tim Hudson in the first inning and never looked back. They finished the game with 17 runs on 24 hits, both of which set an opponent record at AT&T Park. Now the Dodgers hand the ball to Clayton Kershaw Sunday with a series win hanging in the balance.
