Dodgers News: Brock Stewart Recalled; Josh Ravin Optioned
The Dodgers have recalled Brock Stewart and optioned Josh Ravin back to Oklahoma City after his scoreless appearance yesterday.

Stewart had been injured to start 2017 after he put a ton of pitches on his arm in 2016, rising from A-ball all the way to a member of the big league team in Los Angeles.
Before being recalled, Brock Stewart had a 3.24 ERA in three starts (8 1/3 IP) for Oklahoma City.
It looks as though he will be taking the job that Ross Stripling had as the long relief man out of the bullpen. The team reported that they still see him as a starting pitcher in the future but for now he is needed as a member of the bullpen.
Brock Stewart role this season for #Dodgers will be in long relief. Long term they still view him as a starting pitcher.

At the start of Sunday’s game against the Reds, Stewart had yet to land in Cincinnati. His agent tweeted out that he was at the airport to pick up Stewart in the 5th inning.
At airport picking up @Brock_A_Stewart Game is in 5th. Can this agent of the year candidate get him there in time to pitch 8th and 9th ??

Stewart did in fact make it in time before the game ended. Kudos to his agent for getting him to the field in such a short amount of time.
