Dodgers News: Chase Utley Ties Dodgers Assist Record
The Los Angeles Dodgers open up a 3-game series on Monday at Chavez Ravine against the Cincinnati Reds. Clayton Kershaw will take the mound hoping to continue his hot start to the season.
Kershaw brings a 6-1 record with a 1.67 era into Monday’s game. The Reds come into the matchup with a 15-29 record and currently sit in last place in the NL Central Division. As for the Dodgers, they are 4.5 games behind the San Fransisco Giants.

But amidst the 17 inning marathon against the San Diego Padres Sunday night, second baseman Chase Utley made it into the Dodgers record books. In the Dodgers 9-5 victory over the Padres, Utley racked up 13 assists to go along with 9 at-bats, according to Dodgers Insider Jon Weisman.
