Dodgers News: Dodgers Break Franchise Home Run Record in June
The 2017 Los Angeles Dodgers have been known for their love of the long ball in 2017.
Led by Cody Bellinger, the Dodgers have broken the franchise record for most home runs in a single month, with 50.

The team sat at 47 home runs entering Thursday’s game against the Angels. Yasiel Puig hit 48,Chase Utley hit 49 and Joc Pederson’s three-run shot was the record breaker at 50; and what a home run that was.

The Los Angeles Dodgers surpassed the the 1953 team that hit 49 home runs in July and August of that season, making June of 2017 the most powerful month that the franchise has ever seen.
They will still have one last attempt at adding to their franchise record against the San Diego Padres on Friday night, the last day of the month.
