Dodgers News: MLB Commissioner Talks Dodgers, Ping Pong Champs Crowned and More | VIDEO
The Los Angeles Dodgers Spring Training games give fans a glimpse of what’s to come in the season, but unfortunately for fans in the Los Angeles area, most of those games are blocked out unless you have Time Warner Cable SportsNetLA.
It’s been a back in forth battle between cable providers and unfortunately it seems the MLB can’t do much to intervene. Earlier this week MLB Commissionaire Rob Manfred spoke on the Dodgers bittersweet TV deal, and stated the MLB can’t do much to help the process along.
“We’ve tried to talk to the parties involved to encourage them to get to the table and try to find a resolution,” Manfred said during an event hosted by USC’s Sports Business Institute at L.A. Live. “We don’t have much leverage.”
Until then, most Spring Training games can be heard on AM 570 and fans can also follow the LIVE thread on DodgersNation.com.
With a few games under the teams belt we asked fans what have they been most impressed with so far. It was a close race, but it seems most fans have been impressed with the Dodgers hitting.

However, that wasn’t the only question I asked this week.
What's the best way to follow your favorite #Dodgers players on Social Media? Friday's @MLB’s @Snapchat #DodgersST

Well it seems the MLB is trying to get their Snapchat game up by deeming Friday, March 11, MLB Snapchat Day.
Friday is @MLB’s @Snapchat Day, and it’s going to be GLORIOUS.https://t.co/i3ON36gPvN

The MLB Commissionaire said in his interview with USC’s Sports Business Institute, that it was a chance for the league and its clubs to connect with younger fans through another means of social media.
Seeing that only 15 percent prefer to connect with the Dodgers on Snapchat it seems the league is looking to change that.
