Dodgers News: Scott Kazmir Confident His Injury Is Minor
When Scott Kazmir left his Saturday start after just four innings and 70 pitches with an abdominal injury, it was understandable to instantly think the worst.
After all, injuries have plagued the Dodgers all spring, including some very serious ones like Andre Ethier’s broken leg. However, in good news, Kazmir’s injury doesn’t seem like one to be concerned about.

After the game, Kazmir made it clear that he’s fine, and the injury shouldn’t keep him from missing any time.
Scott Kazmir left due to a minor abdominal issue, but repeated over and over that he felt fine. He said he will make his next start on 3/31.

It’s a rare break in what has been a nightmare spring for the Dodgers health-wise, though it’s certainly worth keeping an eye on if Kazmir does in fact make his next start on Thursday.
Dave Roberts did say after the game he wanted to get more information on the situation tomorrow, so we’ll have to wait for that update when it comes. For now, it is good to see Kazmir in such high spirits regarding his health.
