Dodgers News: Walker Buehler To Be Involved in LA Postseason After All
Walker Buehler will be throwing a pitch for the Dodgers during the NLDS! It just may not be the one you were all expecting.
On Monday, the Dodgers announced who will be throwing out the ceremonial first pitches in Games 1 and 2 of the NLDS.
Buehler, who’s recovering from his second Tommy John surgery, will be getting the honor ahead of Game 2.
Dodgers say Eric Karros and Steve Sax will throw out the ceremonial first pitch in Game 1.
Walker Buehler, rehabbing from Tommy John surgery, will throw out the first pitch for Game 2.

This obviously wasn’t what Dodgers fans were hoping as the team enters the postseason, but it’ll be nice to see Buehler out on the mound and a part of the ceremonies as the team gets set for the NLDS.
Come next postseason, hopefully Buehler is back on the mound in a normal role.
First pitch for game 1 is set for 6:37 PM PT and for 5:37 PM PT for game 2 at Dodger Stadium. Julio Urias is expected to be LA’s game 1 starter.
