Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider ribbed Los Angeles Dodgers play-by-play commentator Joe Davis regarding his commentary during the World Series.
Davis has covered the World Series on Fox since 2022.
“When the Dodgers were winning, he was going crazy. I got a bone to pick with Joe. I wasn’t listening to the broadcast anyway. He’s got one of the best voices in the game. I love his energy. He’s really cool. I think he’s great at what he does, but I had to get that out there with a little subtle jab. We didn’t hear the broadcast. That was some complaints from some family and some friends and some other people around [because] they’re rooting for us, you know.”
The Dodgers have been in the mix for Kyle Tucker all offseason, and are still interested in him, per MLB.com’s Mark Feinsand.
Along with the Dodgers, the Yankees, Mets and Blue Jays are all interested in the All-Star, per Feinsand.
