Dodgers Notes: Clayton Kershaw Update, Key Reliever Injured, Kenley Jansen Signs

The Los Angeles Dodgers are continuing a dominant offseaon.

There has been a major update in the 2025 status of Clayton Kershaw. The three-time Cy Young award winner was seen at Camelback Ranch with the team, shortly before it was announced he will be returning to the Dodgers on a new deal.

That deal is expected to become official on Wednesday.

Another major pitching update unfortunately came with the news that a key reliever will likely start the season on the injured list, despite an offseason of recovery after a torn tendon in his shoulder was suffered in the NLCS.

Additionally, longtime Dodgers closer Kenley Jansen has signed with a Los Angeles-based team, but unfortunately for Dodgers faithful, it is with the Los Angeles Angels. Jansen looks to reach No. 3 on the all-time saves list this season as he is 31 away.
