Dodgers Notes: Kiké Hernandez Health Update, Michael Kopech Setbacks, Mookie Betts Walk-Off

The Los Angeles Dodgers remained undefeated on Friday night, winning 8-5 over the Detroit Tigers thanks to a Mookie Betts walk-off three-run home run. Despite heading into the bottom of the 10th inning down 5-3, L.A. found a way to win and move to 4-0 on the year.

A game that started with the excitement of the defending champions finally receiving their World Series rings also featured a positive health update on Kiké Hernández. Manager Dave Roberts told reporters that the utility man was doing “much better.”

In more injury news, right-handed reliever Michael Kopech revealed that he suffered multiple setbacks on his road to recovery this spring. However, he’s doing better now as he continues to ramp up toward a return.
