The Los Angeles Dodgers made a number of roster decisions ahead of this offseason’s free agency period, adding outfielder Ryan Ward and Robinson Ortiz to the 40-man roster.
In a corresponding move, the Dodgers outrighted World Series winner Justin Dean and right-hander Michael Grove. They also designated right-hander Tony Gonsolin. The San Francisco Giants quickly snapped up Dean on waivers.
The Dodgers also secured third baseman Max Muncy and left-hander Alex Vesia for 2026, exercising both of their team options for next season.
