Max Muncy is an American professional baseball infielder for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was born on August 25, 1990, in Midland, Texas. He was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 5th round of the 2012 MLB June Amateur Draft from Baylor University. In 2017, he was released by the A’s at the end of spring training and signed on with the Los Angeles Dodgers at the end of April. He got his LA call-up in 2018 and has been a staple in the Dodgers lineup, and a fan favorite, ever since. He is known for his plate discipline and slugging ability.
