Los Angeles Dodgers All-Star catcher Will Smith has a nagging injury on his ankle that doesn’t seem to be going away. Smith has been dealing with a bone bruise since June that he has continued to play through.
The Dodgers still have a couple spots in the lineup up for grabs, and we predicted who will be on the field come Opening Day in Japan.
And finally, as the team gets set for Japan, the fifth starter in the rotation has yet to be announced. A Dodgers insider believes that Dustin May may have the edge on the final spot.
