Dodgers Players Line Up in Kobe Bryant Jerseys on Lakers Night at Dodger Stadium

The Dodgers honored the late, great LA Lakers icon Kobe Bryant on Lakers night at Dodger Stadium by welcoming his family to the park for an emotional scene.

Dodgers players lined up down the third base line donning Bryant number 8 and number 24 Lakers jerseys. Additionally, before Kobe and Vanessa’s oldest daughter Natalia threw out the ceremonial first pitch, the Dodger organization and team president Stan Kasten presented a $100,000 check to the Mamba and Mambacita Foundation.

“The Dodgers are so proud to be helping the Mamba and Mambacita Foundation in their mission to positively impact our community and the entire sports world,” said Kasten in a press release.

Vanessa, Natalia, Bianka, and Capri all took part in a nice rendition of the famous Vin Scully line, “It’s Time for Dodger Baseball” before first pitch.

The entire scene can be watched in the video player at the top of this article or by clicking this link to our YouTube channel.

Here are more of the highlights from the night.
