Dodgers Spring Sights and Sounds: Bobby Miller Takes the Mound at Camelback
Dodgers fans got their first look at top pitching prospect Bobby Miller at Camelback Ranch on Friday. With all the tweets about it, you know it was a must-watch show at spring training.
Definitely a highly anticipated bullpen session it seems.
The Dodgers selected Miller in the first round of the five round 2020 MLB draft. The pandemic wiped out his first professional season but he still made waves at LA’s alternate site that year. In two official minor league seasons, the 23-year-old owns a 9-9 record with a 3.63 ERA over 68.2 innings pitched.
Much has been written about the right-hander this offseason as he knocks on the door of his MLB debut. The biggest question marks surrounding Miller is whether he can dial in his command and what his future ultimately will be as a big leaguer — starting pitcher or late inning reliever.
