The National League Championship Series between the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Milwaukee Brewers is nearly here, and we now know what times to expect first pitch.
When will the Dodgers’ NLCS games start?
- Game 1: Dodgers at Brewers on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 5 p.m. PT
- Game 2: Dodgers at Brewers on Monday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m. PT
- Game 3: Brewers at Dodgers on Wednesday, Oct. 14, at 5 p.m. PT
- Game 4: Brewers at Dodgers on Thursday, Oct. 15, at 6 p.m. PT
- Game 5: Brewers at Dodgers on Friday, Oct. 16, at 6 p.m. PT (if necessary)
- Game 6: Dodgers at Brewers on Sunday, Oct. 18, at 5 p.m. PT (if necessary)
- Game 7: Dodgers at Brewers on Monday, Oct. 19, at 5 p.m. PT (if necessary)
Given the time zone disparity between the West Coast-based Dodgers and Central Time-based Brewers, it seems MLB largely aimed for national prime time with the start times.
The exception to that is Monday’s game, which will occur during the work day for many Dodgers fans.
That’s primarily due to the ALCS, as Monday is the only game of the first two in each series that involves both the NL and AL teams playing on the same day.

The winner of the series between the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Guardians will face the Tampa Bay Rays at 5 p.m. PT that day.
It’s the only time that the Dodgers’ series will be played before the ALCS, as all three other days that could potentially have both AL and NL games — Thursday, Oct. 15, Friday, Oct. 16, and Monday, Oct. 19 — all have the Dodgers in the later slot.
How can I watch the Dodgers in the NLCS?
All of the NLCS games will be broadcast on either Fox or FS1.
Game 1 on Sunday will be on Fox, and Game 2 will be either on Fox or FS1.
Games 3, 4, 5 and 6 will all be on FS1, with the deciding Game 7 scheduled for Fox.
Games 5, 6 and 7 will only be played if necessitated by neither team getting the required four wins yet.
Interestingly, Brewers manager Pat Murphy fully expects this series to go seven games, which would be a big improvement for his squad.
Last season, the Dodgers swept the Brewers in four games.
Do you think the Dodgers will beat the Brewers again in the NLCS, and if so, how many games will it take?
