Dodgers vs Rockies: Betting Odds, Predictions, and Picks for July 31

The Dodgers finish their four-game series in Colorado today and will be looking to win the series. After winning the first two games against the Rockies, LA lost Saturday’s contest 5-3 as starter Clayton Kershaw struggled to consistently collect outs.

LA will turn to another All-Star starter on Sunday in Tony Gonsolin to hopefully secure a series win over a Colorado team that’s ten games under .500.

Latest Betting Odds

According to FanDuel, the Dodgers are favored (-194) to win the game, which doesn’t come as a surprise. Neither does the -1.5 spread in favor of LA, which seems to be where sportsbooks routinely place the Dodgers. LA is -132 to cover the spread.

The over-under is set at 11.5 total runs scored in the game. The two teams have combined to score 17 runs in the last two games, failing to hit the over both times. Those outcomes are probably some of the key factors in the under being slightly favored at -118, as opposed to the over (-104).

Dodgers Player Props

For the first time in a long time, a Dodger player isn’t the favorite to hit a home run in the game. Rockies outfielder Randal Grichuk (+265) owns that distinction. However, five Dodgers fill out the rest of the favorites to go long: Will Smith (+285), Mookie Betts (+300), Freddie Freeman (+320), Max Muncy (+330), and Cody Bellinger (+350).

Dodgers fans that think Trea Turner will hit a home run in his second consecutive game can parlay the Dodgers winning outright and Trea hitting a home run at +490 odds.

First pitch is set for 12:10PM PT.
