Evan Phillips Shockingly Not on Dodgers’ World Series Roster Due to Injury
A surprise has come in Friday morning, as top reliever Evan Phillips will not be on the Dodgers’ World Series roster.
Phillips is dealing with arm fatigue, but he said said Thursday he had “no worries” and expected to be on the roster. However, Phillips will now be left off the Dodgers’ World Series roster in a shocking turn of events.
While Phillips is not on the roster, left-handed reliever Alex Vesia and right-handed reliever Brusdar Graterol are on the roster. Both were trending in the right direction, and will officially make their returns in the World Series for L.A. Edgardo Henriquez has been left off the World Series roster.
On the offensive side of things, infielder Miguel Rojas is back on the roster, replacing outfielder Kevin Kiermaier.
