Former Dodgers Infielder Calls LA Fans ‘By Far Best In Baseball’
Hanser Alberto just gave Dodgers fans another reason to love him, and he is no longer with the team. He recently took to the website formerly known as “Twitter,” and said the Dodgers fans are the best in baseball.
Dodger fans have been known to travel extremely well across baseball. On Saturday against the New York Yankees, a video surfaced of a rather large crowd walking toward the stadium with a police escort.
There’s a lot to cheer for with this 2024 Dodgers team. They have the second-best record in the National League and tout some of the best talent in all of baseball.
Alberto played one season for Los Angeles back in 2022 as a backup infielder and bench bat. He did not have a great season off the bench slashing .244/.258/.365.
However, what he lacked offensively he made up for in clubhouse vibes. Any highlight from that Dodgers team will show Alberto on the top step cheering on his teammates or dancing.
He also made several relief appearances as a pitcher in blowout games. He made 10 appearances with a 4.09 ERA and 1.182 WHIP. In four straight appearances from the end of May until the end of August, Alberto did not give up a run in relief.
