Is Baseball Going to Figure it Out? Good Guy Dodgers, Best Trades Ever, and More | Blue Heaven Podcast
The first official 2020 season pitch from MLB and club owners to players fell flat on its face on Tuesday. As expected, money was the big sticking point. Still, the Dodgers proved to be smart enough financially while other clubs are throwing in the towel. Yes, LA agreed to continue to pay all club employees (understandably some with cuts) while other teams turn to furloughs and layoffs.
With all that, we know that this final week of May is more important than any of the previous 10 or so weeks combined. …can baseball figure it out?
CT3 spilled the beans and let fans know that Dodger Stadium is now open to players, offering a glimmer of hope at a crucial time.
Also on the show, the fifth Dodgers Zoom Party was a bit lacking but still provided some fun tidbits. For example, Dodger president of baseball ops Andrew Friedman is apparently a fan of Dodgers Nation merch.
Additionally, the guys discussed some of the best trades in recent Dodger history before catching up on a non-baseball topic.
