On Thursday night at Dodger Stadium, Clayton Kershaw and his wife, Ellen, hosted the second annual Ping Pong 4 Purpose charity event. Several of Kershaw's teammates were in attendance including Drew Butera, Dee Gordon, Joc Pederson and Justin Turner, among others. George Lopez and Craig Robinson were among the celebrities who attended the event, which was held on the Dodger Stadium infield. Unfortunately for Kershaw, he and his ping pong partner Chris Paul, were eliminated in the first round of the tournament by Zack Greinke and Jerry Hairston Jr. Greinke and Hairston Jr. made it to the championship game before falling to Dee Gordon and Josh Henderson in a closely-contested match. Along with the ping pong tournament, attendees could place bids on various memorabilia items as part of a silent auction.
