Lakers Head Coach Luke Walton Throws Out First Pitch
The Dodgers are no strangers to welcoming other Los Angeles teams to come and throw out the first pitch! Earlier in the year, some players from the Los Angeles Rams made their way to the Chavez Ravine and participated in the ceremonial first pitch. More importantly, that same day Yasiel Puig and Jared Goff finally made amends!
It is no surprise then that the Dodgers would invite the new head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers, Luke Walton!
Walton through out the ceremonial first pitch and also got to hang out with some players and manager Dave Roberts!

#Lakers coach Luke Walton is on the field at Dodger Stadium. Some claps, some "Luuuuke"s and maybe some boos for all I know.

The awesome hat that can be seen on Luke Walton’s head is a promotion that the Dodgers will be giving away on August 8th through special ticket packs. The hat is decked out in purple and gold and also has the Lakers logo on the side of the cap. To purchase your ticket packs for Lakers Night at Dodger Stadium, click here!
The Dodgers hired a new manager this season in Dave Roberts and have done absolutely fantastic. Robert’s rookie managerial season has been overrun with injuries, yet he has somehow found a way to keep the club not just competitive, but one of the top threats in Major League Baseball. Hopefully good rookie seasons for managers is a Los Angeles thing so that Luke Walton can lead the Lakers to success in his first year as well!
