It took less than a week for commissioner Rob Manfred to come to this decision. The 2021 All-Star Game is set to take place at Coors Field this year and the All-Star break starts July 12th and runs through July 15th.

For Dodgers fans, they can still look forward to the 2022 season. MLB is set to host the 2022 All-Star Game at Chavez Ravine after missing out on it in 2020. It was obviously canceled that year due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The Rockies organization shared its excitement in a release soon after the announcement.

The last time the All-Star Game was held at Coors Field, David Wells took the hill for the American League to go against Greg Maddux. That was way back in 1998, so it’s been a while since they’ve been able to host. There is not a city currently selected to host in 2023.
