Yency Almonte is a professional baseball pitcher who currently plays for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He was born on June 4th, 1994, in Miami, Florida. After graduating from Christopher Columbus High School, Almonte was signed by the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim in the 2012 amateur draft. In February 2015, he was sent to the Chicago White Sox and from there was sent to the Colorado Rockies, where he made his Major League debut in 2018.

On March 16, 2022, the Los Angeles Dodgers signed free agent RHP Yency Almonte to a minor league contract. He has since established himself as a reliable relief pitcher, known for his ability to generate swings and misses with his pitches.
