Since Davis was optioned on Saturday, he’s ineligible to be recalled unless someone is placed on the injured list. While the Dodgers haven’t announced anything yet, manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Tyler Glasnow could be placed on the injured list after exiting his start with right shoulder discomfort.
Glasnow was removed his start ahead of the top of the second inning after throwing a few warm up pitches. He expressed tons of frustration after the game for his inability to stay healthy. Glasnow also left his start last Sunday early due to lower leg cramps. He missed the final three months of last season due to an elbow injury.
“I’m just obsessed with trying to figure out what’s going on,” Glasnow said. “And it’s been like this for a few years, and I’m trying to find a way to stay healthy, and I’ll try to do whatever. I just don’t really have an answer right now, and I think that’s the most frustrating thing. It’s not like a lack of trying.
“It’s just kind of getting exhausting at this point. I know it’s probably exhausting for a lot of people, for me especially, but like, I feel bad for my teammates. I feel bad for people watching. … It’s a very frustrating situation for me. It’s hard.”

Roberts said the team would make sure Glasnow could get to a place where he feels that “when he takes the mound, he can go out there and be the guy that he’s capable of being. Until we get to that point, I think that the (injured list) is certainly a conversation.”
