Spring Training Video: Adrian Gonzalez Two-Run Double Vs Giants

Heading into Friday night’s game against the rival San Francisco Giants, Adrian Gonzalez had yet to find his swing this spring.
Gonzalez was hitting just .233, but for a veteran like the 32-year-old, the spring isn’t just about stats. Since the Dodgers acquired him in August of 2012, he has provided consistent production in the middle of the order and even led the league in RBIs last season.
With two on in the first inning on Friday, the reigning Silver Slugger delivered for the Dodgers:
The double made it a 2-0 game in favor of the reigning NL West champs and a Carl Crawford single a couple batters later made it 3-0. An error by Crawford in the second made it 3-2 and it remained that way through the third.
Based on his track record, there should be plenty more highlights like the one above from Gonzalez this season.
