Teoscar Hernandez Slams Other Teams for Not Being as Motivated as Dodgers to Win
The Los Angeles Dodgers are definitely doing something right.
It wasn’t just the moves that led to the franchise’s eighth World Series championship, but everything that occured after the fact.
Bringing in Cy Young award-winning pitcher Blake Snell, landing international phenom Roki Sasaki, signing a four-time Gold Glove winner in Hyeseong Kim from the Korean Baseball Organization, and even adding a pair of closers in Tanner Scott and Kirby Yates are just a few of the illustrious offseason moves that have positioned the current leaders of the baseball world even better in 2025.
Not to mention, the team has brought back notable free agents from last season’s title run like extending Tommy Edman’s contract, re-signing Blake Treinen, and keeping fan favorite Teoscar Hernández in Los Angeles.

Many argue that the Dodgers are ruining baseball with their relentless free agency pickups and deferred money in contracts, but the rules are the same for every team.
Hernández defended his team when asked if other teams were as competitive as the Dodgers during his free agency pursuits on a recent appearance on the Foul Territory podcast.
“No, I don’t think so. Because if teams want to win, they don’t go into free agency telling players, ‘Oh, we need to make a trade for us to get money’ or ‘ We need to make a trade for us to open up room’ or ‘We need to make a trade for this type of player,’ Hernández said.
“If you want to compete, you just sign players. You make the move quick and you sign good players in free agency. I don’t see that from the other teams that were interested in my services.”
Although Hernández’s main priority was to continue and perhaps one day end his career with L.A., there was no shortage of drama regarding if the outfielder would return to Chavez Ravine in 2025.
Hernández knows first hand what it was like to be a player pursued by the Dodgers and despite the efforts of other teams, he is back in Dodger blue for at least the next three seasons.

Teoscar is so right about how jealous the losers are.
The Florida Panthers just visited President Trump at the White House so hopefully the Dodger visit next and continue to visit over the next few years. As President Trum say in one of his famous lines we are going to get tired of winning so much but of course he was joking and we will not get tired of the Dodgers winning it all.
