Tweets Of The Night: Zack Greinke Loses 1-0, Bats Go Silent Again
The Dodgers had an impressive 11-0 win last night against the Colorado Rockies. Clayton Kershaw pitched six scoreless innings and the Dodgers exploded offensively for 11 runs as Carl Crawford and A.J. Ellis both had three RBIs each.
Tonight, it doesn’t get any easier for the Rockies as the Dodgers had Zack Greinke on the mound and he was looking for his 16th win of the season. Like Kershaw, Greinke was looking to add to an already impressive regular season and make one last tuneup start before the NLDS.
The Rockies had Juan Nicasio pitching tonight and he hasn’t won in his last five appearances. Nicasio is 8-9 with 5.32 ERA and hasn’t pitched past the second inning in his last two starts.
Hanley Ramirez was back in the lineup tonight, but Yasiel Puig and Mark Ellis got the night off.
Here are the tweets of the night.
