VIDEO: Dodgers Ace Clayton Kershaw Stars In Subway Commercial

After a 2014 season that resulted in a National League Cy Young and MVP award, Clayton Kershaw became an even bigger star than he already was.

Shortly after taking home both awards, Kershaw signed an endorsement deal with Subway. He joined fellow MVP Mike Trout. Kershaw joins a long list of celebrity endorsers for the sandwich chain and recently had his first commercial released.

In the commercial, Kershaw breaks down his favorite sandwich and says he follows with a “steady diet of fastballs”. The left-hander made his first start on Opening Day, going six inning and allowing three runs. He comes into the season with great expectations once again, as he was the odds-on favorite to win the Cy Young again.

If Kershaw can continue to do what he’s done, then it’s a safe bet that he will have more commercials for Subway.
