WATCH: Cody Bellinger Breaks Multi-HR Record Monday Night
Cody Bellinger is putting on the best string of games together since Yasiel Puig entered the league in 2013.
Bellinger entered Monday’s game with 19 home runs. Those 19 home runs have come in his first 50 games as a big league player. After he launched two more bombs Monday night off of Zack Wheeler, he sat at 21 home runs and he recorded his FIFTH multi-home run game.
Cody Bellinger is the first player in MLB history with 5 multi-HR games in his first 51 games. Previous fastest to 5 was Mark McGwire (84g)
