Dodgers Make Series of Roster Moves On Sunday, Including Calling Landon Knack Up

Ahead of their series finale against the Cincinnati Reds, the Dodgers made a series of roster moves. They recalled right-hander Landon Knack, added left-hander Anthony Banda to the active roster, and optioned right-handers Ricky Vanasco and J.P. Feyereisen.

The team also transferred right-hander Connor Brogdon to the 60-day injured list to make room for Banda on the 40-man roster.

Knack will start the game Sunday against the Reds. He has made three starts for Los Angeles, posting an ERA of 2.81 over 16 innings of work.

Banda was recently acquired from the Cleveland Guardians for cash considerations. He is a lefty reliever who recently pitched for Cleveland’s Triple-A affiliate. He has posted an ERA of 2.12 in 12 minor-league appearances this year.

Vanasco has been up and down in the organization this season. He has appeared in one game for Los Angeles this year, posting an era of zero over two innings of work.

Feyereisen has appeared in nine games for the Dodgers this year and has had an inconsistent performance so far. He holds an ERA of 6.00 over nine innings but has looked much better over his last few appearances.

Brogdon has only appeared in one game for the Dodgers after being acquired from the Philadelphia Phillies, posting an ERA of 18.00.

Los Angeles has taken two of three games so far from Cincinnati and will look to win the series on Sunday. Mookie Betts is back in the lineup after a scheduled day off on Saturday. First pitch is scheduled for 1:10 p.m. PT.
