All Star Voting: Matt Kemp Among National League Leaders

If the MLB All Star Game presented by Camping World were tomorrow, the Dodgers would boast one starter. With the first ballot update released, Matt Kemp ranks among the top three outfielders in the National league.

Kemp ranks third behind Bryce Harper and Nick Markakis with 351,780 votes. Still, it’s great to see that fans are voting with such a deserving conscious. Kemp is hitting .338 at press time with 10 home runs, 41 runs batted in, and a .932 OPS.

However, there is still work to be done. Colorado’s Charlie Blackmon and Atlanta’s Ronald Acuna Jr. are making a strong push just behind Kemp. You can help the cause to get Matt Kemp to the game as a starter by voting right here. You can vote up to five times per day – and you may even find a way to vote more than that.

Two other Dodgers are listed on the ballot in contention. Those players are Cody Bellinger and Justin Turner. It is interesting to note that while neither has had the definition of an ‘All-Star’ season statistically, it speaks volumes towards their popularity.

The next voting update will take place on Monday, June 18th.

Vote Matt Kemp To Start in the All Star Game

Dave Roberts will manage the National league squad this season – so it’s a fair bet that Kemp ends up an All-Star. Yet, the Dodgers need to see someone as a starter and there truly isn’t anyone at the present moment more deserving of the nomination. There’s only one way to do that, and it’s get out and vote!
