At the very last moment possible, the Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired Texas Rangers ace Yu Darvish.
The first to break the news was Ken Rosenthal of Fox Sports:

The Dodgers were rumored to be in on Yu Darvish for weeks and the news was not announced until Rosenthal broke the news on twitter 14 minutes after the trade deadline. Darvish owns a career 3.42 earned run average since he entered the league in 2012.
Yu Darvish currently holds a 4.01 earned run average in 2017, but still holds a 3.0 BB/9 and 9.7 K/9 ratio.
Yu Darvish will only be a Dodger for the remainder of the 2017 season as his contract will expire. He should be slotted in between Clayton Kershaw and Alex Wood as the number two pitcher in the starting rotation come playoff time.
Here are the prospects that have been given up in the deal. As expected, Alex Verdugo and Walker Buehler have not been dealt.
Patience is a virtueRangers' return for Darvish is Willie Calhoun, A.J. Alexy and Brendon Davis.
