The Walker Buehler Foundation has been around for four years now, and this event is a great way for him to give back.

“It’s humbling,” he said of this event drawing so many people from around the country. “You never really know what kind of impact you can make until guys start getting on planes and coming to Lexington for a golf event in the middle of November,” he added.

Buehler just wants to help people, and he decided a while ago to give back to those who put their lives on the line. He is a big supporter of the first responders, and this is his way to make his mark.

“He’s benefited from having the absolute best regarding facilities and rehab specialists. He would like for first responders to have the same.”

Buehler has been recovering from his second Tommy John Surgery and has had access to the most top-notch facilities. He believes that they deserve to have similar facilities as well.

“We want to get them cold plunges and saunas, some wellness stuff and anti-anxiety kind of stuff, so we’re excited,” he said.

This was a very cool showing from Buehler and just shows what kind of person he is. Hopefully, we get to see him back on the mound very soon, and he can help the Dodgers reach their goal of winning another World Series.
