The Dodgers had to make a move prior to Wednesday afternoons game in Pittsburgh. They already knew they would be adding in Ryan Pepiot, one of their top pitching prospects, to make his big league debut.
But in order to do that the dodgers needed to remove someone from the 40 man roster. That ended up being Robbie Erlin, who the team announced they had DFA’d early this morning.
Erlin Made two appearances for the Dodgers since being added this weekend. He pitched in two innings and gave up two runs with one punch out. He came over as a free agent during February of this year.
Up next for the Dodgers, they’ll head back home to face off against the Phillies for a four game series. Tyler Anderson is set to get the first start of the series against Philly.
