Dodgers: Adrian Beltre Takes in a Game at Dodger Stadium

The Dodgers and Rangers were back at it against on Saturday night in Los Angeles. Just one game after Los Angeles blew them out 12-1 on Friday, the Rangers came out swinging. That led to another 12-1 blowout, this time in favor of Texas.

But Dodgers fans did get to see a familiar face in the stands to brighten up their rough Saturday. Adrian Beltre made the trip out to Chavez Ravine to take in a ballgame between his 2 former teams. Beltre was apparently there with his agent, Scott Boras.

Beltre has not been with the Dodgers since 2004 when he played his final season before hitting free agency. He would later sign a five-year, $64 million deal with the Seattle Mariners. He ended up playing there before signing a one-year deal with Boston.

Following that contract, Beltre inked a massive five-year, $80 million contract with the Texas Rangers. He ended up playing there for a total of 8 years before retiring following the 2018 season. Despite that, Dodgers fans will always love him and remember him in our blue.

  1. Agreed! My thoughts xactly. Most people would not even know who DePodesta is, but he is the guy to blame that never re-signed AB. HIS offer was pitiful, 3 years @ 30 mil compared to Seattle’s offer of 5 years for $64mil.
