Dodgers Announce Probable Pitchers For Freeway Series

After splitting their two-game series in Korea with the San Diego Padres, the Dodgers have enjoyed a few days off. This is time for them to recoup from the long trip and get themselves ready to go for the start of the season next week.

But before the regular season resumes for the team, they do have three exhibition games against the Los Angeles Angels at home. They will play tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday against the Halos, giving them their final test run before the long year starts.

Los Angeles has announced the starting pitchers for the game. Right-hander Bobby Miller will take the mound tomorrow, right-hander Gavin Stone will start on Monday and left-hander James Paxton will get the nod on Tuesday.

This seems to be the backend of the Dodgers starting rotation plans and may give us some insight into how Los Angeles plans to use their starts against the Cardinals in the opening series. Tyler Glasnow and Yoshinobu Yamamoto will be pitching in the home opener and second game, but nothing has been announced after that.

We will likely see Miller take game three against St. Louis, with Paxton or Stone getting game four.

This series against the Angels will be a good test for the team, as they prepare themselves for the year. They still may have some jet lag from their time in Korea, so if they get off to a slow start tomorrow, that could be why.

The regular season is almost upon us and it’s going to be a fun ride!
