Dodgers Are Going Back To The City Connect Uniforms Tonight With a Twist
The Dodgers and Mets will be back at it again tonight in Los Angeles. Coming off of two consecutive wins, they’ll send out Walker Buehler to try and secure the series win. He faces off against the southpaw David Peterson.
But the game will feature a little bit of a twist for fans out in Los Angeles. Not only will Gil Hidges’ number be retired, but the team will go back to their City Connect jerseys. It will be the first time this season that they wear the all-blues again.
But this time, there will be a little bit of a twist. The players and coaches will apparently NOT be wearing the “Los Dodgers” hats from last year. Instead, they will be mixing in something a little different. What that might be still remains to be seen.
Dodgers are wearing their City Connect jerseys tonight for the first time this season. Different hats than last year though.

The Dodgers City Connect jerseys came with mixed reviews from fans last year. While some loved them, others didn’t see why everything had to be one blue color. Maybe the team has decided that mixing in a new hat could shake things up for them.

Awful uniforms! No wonder they lost the game. What is “City Connect”? The Mets announcers pointed out that the uniforms were particularly in appropriate on the night that Gil’s number was being retired, and suggested that Brooklyn jerseys would have been a really nice touch.
I love the blue. I hate the :Los: Dodgers…
Agreed with the Brooklyn, a nice touch. But Dodgers FO is out-of-touch.
I can’t think which is worse? Those hideous unis or jerseys without the last name courtesy of McCheap.
