Dodgers Blue Diamond Gala to Feature Multi-Time Grammy Winning Artist

The Los Angeles Dodgers’ 2024 Blue Diamond Gala will be headlined by four-time Grammy award winning artist Ed Sheeran. Sheeran, known for a variety of songs including “Perfect,” “Thinking Out Loud” and “Bad Habits”, will perform at the private concert on Thursday, May 2.

Sheeran joins a list of legends who have performed at this event, including Usher, Earth Wind and Fire, Jennifer Lopez, Fleetwood Mac, Bruno Mars, John Legend, Maroon 5, and Aloe Blacc.

This is the eighth edition of the Dodgers’ Blue Diamond Gala, which celebrates and raises money for the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation. This foundation aims to improve education, healthcare and homelessness in Los Angeles. The event has raised millions of dollars in previous years for these causes.

Dodgers owner Mark Walter said the following after the announcement of Sheeran performing at the gala.

“As we look forward, the gala underscores our unwavering commitment to serving Los Angeles, ensuring that as long as there is need, our ownership group will be here to support.” Walter said. “We welcome Ed Sheeran to a family of past Blue Diamond Gala performers whose artistry has helped raise vital funds to support Angelenos.”

The event will feature both current and former Dodgers players, coaches and other celebrities in attendance to support the Dodgers’ foundation.
