Dodgers: Breaking Down 1988 World Series Game 1 with Jomboy

The man, the myth, the legend. The guy that almost singlehandedly forced MLB and commissioner Rob Manfred to actually do something about the Astros cheating… Yes, Jomboy is still doing his part to keep people entertained and provide content on the daily.

On his YouTube channel Jomboy Media, Jimmy O’Brien along with friend and podcast partner Jake sat down to watch, react to, and breakdown the improbable story of game 1 of the 1988 World Series — the Kirk Gibson game.

WATCH

I gotta say, watching a Dodger game with Yankees fans is odd right off the bat, but it’s fun.

At a time with no baseball and no sports in general, it’s an ideal opportunity to catch up on some of the all-time classic games in MLB history, and that’s exactly what the guys at Jomboy are doing with their Watchin’ Baseball series. So if you’re looking for a different way to re-watch some legendary games, why not watch it with Jimmy and Jake?

  1. As a Dodger fan since 1962, I just can’t watch 1988 anymore. It doesn’t bring back fond memories of glory days past. It just reminds me of over 30 years of failure. Just let it go.
