King, who is better known for her time as the world’s No. 1 tennis pro and becoming a trailblazer in women’s sports, will be reading the clue cards for this category.

Considered one of the greatest tennis players of all time, King won of total of 39 Grand Slam titles, with 12 coming in singles, 16 in women’s doubles, and 11 in mixed doubles. She was inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1987.

Along with her tennis career, King was famous for championing women’s sports and equality in women’s sports. She famously went up against former No. 1 tennis player Bobby Riggs in a matchup that was known as the “Battle of the Sexes.” She won the match in three sets, and the match was later portrayed in the 2017 movie, Battle of the Sexes.

Beyond winning this match, King successfully campaigned for equal pay between the men’s and women’s tennis tournaments. She also founded the Women’s Tennis Association and the Women’s Sports Foundation, among several other endeavors that have pushed for gender equality and women in sports.

In 2018, King and Ilana Kloss became part of the group to purchase the Los Angeles Dodgers, joining controlling partner Mark Walter, and partners Magic Johnson, Peter Guber, Todd Boehly, Alan Smolinisky, and Robert L. Plummer.
