Dodgers: David Price Activated From the Restricted List

The Dodgers were lucky enough to not be in dire need of the services of David Price in 2020. After trading for him along with Mookie Betts back in February, Price decided to sit out the season. With COVID-19 numbers on the rise, he decided to choose his family’s health and well-being over a year of baseball.

On Tuesday afternoon, the Dodgers activated Price from the restricted list. He was officially added back to their 40-man roster as a result. It should be noted that this does not mean that Price will 100 percent play in 2021. It’s simply a procedural move required by the timing of the season coming to an end.

Price could again decide not to play next year if he felt as though the conditions were not safe once again. With the growing uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus, who even knows what the 2021 season will look like at this point. Price is under contract with the Dodgers through the 2022 season.

  1. If Price gets a ring, then so should I.
We gave the same effort in helping the Dodgers to victory.

  2. I’d like to see David Price traded this winter. The Dodgers don’t need him and the weak pitching FA market suggests there would be takers.

The dude quit on a WS team. Send him packing.
