Dodgers, Diamondbacks Will Play on Tuesday Night Following Bee Delay
The Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks will play on Tuesday night following a lengthy bee delay.
A swarm of bees took over the netting behind home plate at Chase Field, causing what will bee (sorry) a nearly two-hour delay.
However, after finally getting a beekeeper on scene, Tuesday night’s game will happen.
When Will The Dodgers Game Start on Tuesday?
Tuesday night’s game between the Dodgers and Diamondbacks has a scheduled start time of 8:35 p.m. PT.
With the nearly two-hour delay (first pitch was scheduled for 6:40 p.m PT), the scheduled starter for the Diamondbacks, prized free agent acquisition Jordan Montgomery, won’t be starting. Instead, it’ll be left-handed pitcher Brandon Hughes.
As for the Dodgers, Landon Knack is warming up and seems on track to still start Tuesday night’s game despite the long delay.
